Agriculture in Japan is required to realize a stable food supply, food safety, and reduction in environmental impacts while strengthening its platform and increasing its productivity.

Persons who have graduated from a foreign country's university located in Japan (after an 18-year education period at the time of graduation) which is recognized by the Japanese Minister of Education as a foreign country's educational facility. Those who have obtained a Master's Degree, and those who are expected to complete their Master's Degree by March of the year in which they intend to enter the program are eligible to apply.
