The predecessor of the department was the Department of International Trade of the National Taiwan University School of Management. In the Republic of China in 81, it changed its name in response to the trend of internationalization of enterprises and the trend of international academic research. In the same year, he was allowed to establish a master's class, and a doctoral class was added in the Republic of China in 1984.
