Program Overview

The teaching objectives of this department are to cultivate key scientific and technological talents needed for industrial development. The focus of teaching and research is opto-mechatronics, electrical machinery, nanotechnology, network applications, computational science, applied mechanics, and marine technology. The department is affiliated to the College of Engineering. Currently, there are 24 full-time teachers, 181 university students, 186 graduate students in the Institute, and 43 doctoral students.
