Program Overview

There is a prerequisite to write thesis after enrolment in PhD program in the Department of Field Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, Ankara University. Only those student are enrolled in PhD programme, who have graduated under Master's program. PhD degree program involves agronomic&breeding techniques related theoretical, practical teaching and research work in breeding, biotechnology, seed technology, cytology, farming systems (organic farming, sustainable agriculture, etc) related to cool and warm season cereals, pulses, oil crops, fiber &-rubber plants, starch -- sugar crops, tobacco-medicinal and aromatic plants, grasses and legumes,meadows&pastures and forage crops subjects that are grown fields.

Must have a master's degree, %50 of ALES degree, %20 of undergraduate grade-point average, %30 of the written exam , at least 65 average degree.
