PhD Urogynecology

Pelvic floor dysfunction, including pelvic organ prolapse and lower urinary tract, anorectal and sexual dysfunctions, affects almost half of the women in the world and in our country, significantly disrupts the quality of life and causes serious health expenditures. In this area, the training of health professionals will provide the right diagnosis and treatment approaches as well as the right preventive health services. Therefore, it is important for public health to increase the number of specialized health care professionals who have sufficient knowledge and skills in this field. Urogynecology and Pelvic Floor Health doctoral program provides in-depth training on both preventive applications and treatment approaches related to pelvic floor dysfunctions in women. This program aims to provide in-depth training in both preventive and therapeutic approaches to pelvic floor dysfunction in women and to develop researchers who can conduct independent research and review international data in this field with a critical perspective, interpret, analyze and reach new syntheses.
