Program Overview

"PhD program is a at least a 4 year program (to be allow to grant two extra year) consisting totally 36 credit-course, 18 credits of compulsory course and 18 credit of elective course, 2 seminars, necropsy work, laboratory works (cytopathology, histopathology, electron microscopy, immunohistochemistry, and molecular pathology). The program is open to veterinarians which completed 5 years of veterinary medicine degree program or postgraduate education or which completed his master's degree in any field. Candidates are encouraged to choose a priority of biostatistics, methodology and research, scientific ethics courses. Thesis studies is constructed and executed on project-based in relationship with clinical science of which, in general, a problem encountered in the clinical field. Thesis topics is about macroscopic, cytopathological, histopathological, immunohistochemical and molecular pathology and electron microscopic findings of domestic animal diseases and tumors in experimental and natural disease. Ones successfully completed program have the advantage of making a career in the state and private sector in priority with the title of ""Doctor of Science"" in academic life."
