This course is aimed at qualified doctors with clinical experience, providing a tailored training component accompanying student doctoral research. The programme enables the student to ensure that all of the necessary skills to be an excellent researcher can be acquired. Areas in which the University has particular strength are drug discovery (particularly cancer), diseases of the skin, and vascular disease.
IELTS at 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each of the sub tests, Candidates should be able to exhibit both professional qualifications and clinical practice, a medical or dental qualification e.g. MBChB, MBBS, BDS, BChD. Registration with the GMC or GDC of the UK.A minimum of two years clinical practice following GMC or GDC registration, with an additional year in specialist practice.
