The School of Biosciences and Medicine is home to a vibrant research community and has well-established connections with industry and clinical practice. Research within the School fully embraces the bench to bedside concept, ranging from molecular and computational studies through to clinical trials. We have a strong interdisciplinary set of research sections and centres which interact with each other, other parts of the University, and with external collaborators. The research is truly international, with Surrey academics and students coming from around the globe. Many ongoing research projects involve active collaborations with international researchers and institutions.
Applicants are expected to be registered with the General Medical Council and working within the NHS or in an approved institution, IELTS Academic of 6.5 or above (or equivalent) with 6.0 in each individual category. Interview required.
