Research in Biblical studies, religious studies or theology will enable you to complete a survey of existing knowledge in your selected area. In the case of a PhD, you will make an original contribution to knowledge. Many of our students follow a research degree out of personal interest. MA or MSc by Research/MRes: at least a 2.1 honours degree or equivalent, PhD: a master s degree or equivalent in a subject area relevant to the proposed research topic, A proposal, CV, Copies of degree certificates and transcripts, Details of two references, International students will need to submit evidence of their English language proficiency; For English Test: IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in any other component) or equivalent.
