DPsych Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology

A written application, an interview process, A 2:1 honours degree or above which confers the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society (BPS),  IELTS Overall score of 7 or above and at least 6.5 in each subtest, Successful completion of introductory training in therapeutic/counselling skills, other appropriate mental health training undertaken for example as a health or social care worker, or equivalent substantial relevant clinical experience, The capacity to undertake research to doctoral level will be evidenced through the submission of an original research proposal as part of your application, and through consideration of your prior research learning and experience. The research proposal should be no more than 1000 words and should not be one that has already been submitted as part of another programme of study.Substantial experience with face-to-face mental health / counselling work (usually one year minimum).
