The Ph.D. degree in Animal and Food Sciences will be granted in the following major areas of specialization: animal nutrition, physiology, pathology, immunology, molecular biology/biotechnology, food science, and food engineering. In addition to the major area of specialization, the student s advisor, in consultation with the Doctoral Committee, will determine whether the student should pursue a minor field of specialization

Eligibility Criteria

Transcripts, 3 letters of reccomendation, Graduate application Essay,Family Medical History Form,Applicants must have a combined score of at least 1050 on the verbal and quantitative portions of the GRE. Students for whom English is not their first language must attain a minimum score of 600/250/100 on the paper based/computer based/IBET TOEFL examination.
