The Freeman PhD program prepares students for successful careers in academia at peer and aspirant schools as instructors in finance and accounting. They attract high-quality candidates and support them in conducting and publishing influential empirical research. They currently offer a PhD in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Financial Accounting. Students are admitted every other year into the program in the spring of odd calendar years, and they begin their studies the following summer.
