The Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership program is designed for the practitioner leader; it encompasses a leadership growth and development program within a doctoral program.In this program, leadership development is viewed as an interconnected, reinforcing, and sustained process, as opposed to an event, or a series of disconnected events. The two overarching frameworks and eight deep conceptual understandings grounding the program are relevant and authentic to the leader's world of work, and to the other aspects of a leader's holistic life.The Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership program is designed to be interdisciplinary, relevant, practical, process-driven, and research-based. Leadership development is viewed as an integrated and sustained process, not as an event, or series of disconnected events. The leadership concepts and understandings embedded in the program are designed to be relevant and will be connected to and applied within the leader's real world and work environment.The program is designed to be interdisciplinary through the unique core leadership understandings, the essential habits/mindsets, and the respective competencies embedded in the curriculum.
