The Warner School doctoral program in counseling and counselor education provide students with the knowledge and skills to become effective leaders, advanced counseling practitioners, and researchers. Wellgrounded in counseling theory, research, and practice, our programs allow graduates to assume positions as counselor educators, directors of counseling services, professional counselors, and researchers in higher education or other settings where they contribute to new knowledge in the fields of counseling and counselor education, and become leaders in promoting social justice, healthy human development, and quality relationships.
