The Warner School empowers educators to become leaders in teaching and curriculum to use knowledge gained through research and practice to create environments where highquality teaching and learning can take place. The doctoral programs in teaching and curriculum emphasize Warner s unique sociohistorical and interdisciplinary approach; expose students to qualitative and quantitative research methodologies for use in studying the processes of teaching, learning, and curriculum development and implementation; and reflect the perspective that knowledge is socially constructed in context.
