Program Overview

All applicants accepted into the ECE doctoral program must have received a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in electrical or computer engineering, or closely related fields such as computer science, mechanical engineering, mathematics or the physical sciences. The GRE exam is required of all applicants. The program requirements include a minimum of 60 semester hours of approved coursework and research hours beyond the bachelor's degree.

Official high school transcript, Diplomas/Proof of Degree/Academic Certificates, standardized test scores: International applicants must provide a test score from one of the two tests. They must attain a minimum of 550 on the paper-based, 213 on the computer-based, or 80 on the internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or attain a minimum overall band score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS),letter of recommendation and curriculam vitae.
