GPA 3.0 overall; 3.5 in German for Ph.D, TOEFL 550 on the paper based (PB)or 79 on the internet based (IBT) or composite score of 7, 3 letters of recommendation, Statement of purpose, Audio tape or CD in German - 3 minute short biography and 2 minute reading of literary text (not required for native speakers of German), Official transcripts, C.V, Writing Sample either in German or English
