Program Overview

The UC History doctoral program is a small, high quality program, drawing on the expertise of a renowned and research-active faculty to provide professional skills in the discipline of history. We admit between 2 and 4 students per year. The program combines the resources of a major urban research university with small classes and individual mentoring.
