Students enrolled in the DNP in Community Health Nursing, Students study how to, respond more efficiently to changes in healthcare delivery and emerging healthcare needs for the future, to use the knowledge and competence in health systems leadership, policy development and interdisciplinary collaboration to improve healthcare quality and increase healthcare access for all populations, to design, evaluate and continuously improve the context within which healthcare is delivered and learn and analyze innovative and evidence-based nursing practice, which requires competence in translating research in practice, evaluating evidence, applying research and decision-making, and implementing viable clinical innovations.
