Program Overview

The Nurse Midwifery Practitioner DNP Program prepares nurses with advanced preparation in the assessment and management of women s health issues. Certified Midwifery Practitioners manage the primary, obstetric, and gynecologic care of essentially healthy women across the life span. Graduates are eligible to sit for the nurse midwifery certification exam which is administered by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). The program can be completed in either part-time or full-time study.
