Program Overview

The objective of the program is to educate students for current and future roles in the profession of pharmacy. In addition to learning the scientific and technical knowledge and communication skills necessary to be a pharmacist, students are instilled with the concept of a pharmacist's professional responsibilities as a provider of patient care. The Pharm.D. program is a six-year program, with four years of professional doctoral study preceded by a minimum of two years of preprofessional study at an accredited institution.
