Doctor of Physical Therapy Program Full Time

The Movement Science Track in the Doctoral Program in Health Sciences, in concert with the mission of Rutgers SHP, prepares physical therapists to be clinician-scientists who are able to contribute to the knowledge of discovery by integrating knowledge from practice into research. The program supports this mission through its faculty who collectively model all aspects of clinical investigation including sound scientific inquiry by hypothesis formation and testing, synthesis and application of existing knowledge, acquisition and interpretation of data, sound scientific writing and the dissemination of knowledge through peer reviewed oral and written formats.
