The PH.D in Biological Students must choose an area of research to study from. Students can choose from these following research area, behavior, biochemistry, cell biology, ecology, endocrinology, evolution, evolutionary genetics, genetics, immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, neurobiology, animal physiology and plant physiology. Finally Students analyze how to take the Concentration Examination, take the Formal Research Proposal Examination, submit the dissertation and give a final oral defense of the dissertation, including a departmental seminar on the research
