Program Overview

Molecular Cell and Developmental Biology is an interdepartmental program that offers graduate training towards the PhD degree. In order to provide a wide range of current research opportunities, this program is interdepartmental, comprised primarily of the faculty of the Department of Cell Biology and includes additional faculty from several other departments and centers on the medical campus. These include the Departments of Microbiology and Immunology, Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology, Medicine, Ophthalmology, Urology, Surgery, Neurosurgery and Neurology, the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis.

Applicants to biomedical programs should have a bachelor degree in a biological or related discipline (e.g., psychology, chemistry, engineering, physics). Three letters of reccomendation, Minimum 3.0 GPA, Minimum 6.5 IELTS, Minimum 550 PBT TOEFL
