Program Overview

The Clinical Psychology Program offers a Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychology. The clinical psychology Ph.D. program has been fully accredited for over 25 years by the American Psychological Association, and offers training from the cognitive-behavioral framework. Based on the Boulder scientist-practitioner model, the program emphasizes an integration of clinical practice and applied clinical research. Working with a faculty mentor, students begin research work their first year. Students in the rehabilitation specialization track take rehabilitation courses as electives and do research with rehabilitation faculty.
