Program Overview

The goal of Post graduate doctrine in Clinical Psychology for students is to assist doctoral psychology graduate students in gaining additional knowledge of multicultural issues. This includes increased awareness of the multicultural psychology research, increased understanding of diverse groups and cultures, and selfreflection of how diversity awareness can be integrated into their professional careers. Finally Students will learn and must showcase Six core competencies and five functional competencies. The Six core competencies are Reflective Practice/SelfAssessment, Scientific method, Relationships, Individual/Cultural diversity, Ethical/Legal Standards and Interdisciplinary Systems. And the five functional competencies are Psychological Evaluation, Psychological Interventions, Consultation, Research/evaluation and Supervision
