The MSc Financial Technology at the University of Warwick is a one-year full-time master’s programme that prepares you to thrive at the intersection of finance, technology and innovation. Curriculum Structure

Core and Foundation Phase

You start with rigorous training in quantitative methods, data science, artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, finance, and information systems. Progressive Learning & Application

Capstone Experience (Final Phase)

In the last part of the year you choose between three practical routes:

  • A Research Paper, where you write a dissertation applying your learning to a FinTech topic;

  • A Self-sourced Internship, giving you real work experience applying FinTech skills in industry;

  • Or FinTech in Practice, a hands-on project working on real challenges with industry partners — sharpening your technical and strategic insight in a professional setting.
