Program Overview

The PGY1 Pharmacy is an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists accredited residency program. PGY1 residents take on the role of clinical pharmacists and provide care to patients in a variety of patient care settings under the guidance of skilled preceptors. A major strength of the program is the large number of clinical faculty members and instructors with many years of experience in various clinical specialties (e.g. oncology, infectious disease, paediatrics, transplant, critical care) and in the areas of management, health outcomes, medication use policy and teaching.
