Program Overview

All students completing either the Sport and Recreation Management or Recreational Therapy major are eligible to take the national examination to be recognized as a Certified Park and Recreation Professional. Students completing the Recreational Therapy Major and designated coursework are also eligible to take the national examination to become a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.

If the secondary school is located outside of the United States, the applicant must provide an official transcript evaluation report, Englishlanguage proficiency test scoresMinimum of 550 on the TOEFL written test or 80 on the Internetbased exam, Minimum of 6.5 on the IELTS exam, Minimum of 58 on the PTE exam, Official SAT or ACT scores, Completed Financial Disclosure Form
