The 1987-founded ABA inspires the next generation of leaders and innovators to have a good effect on the world by educating and motivating them. Over 920 students from Kindergarten through Grade 12 are enrolled in ABA, the only IB World Continuum School in Oman and a non-profit. These students come from over 75 different nations. ABA, which is based in the heart of Muscat, was founded to provide students with an international education of the greatest caliber so they may become self-assured, accountable, compassionate, and lifelong learners.

The ABA Oman International School's social media campaign, "New Beginnings," received the esteemed "InspirED School Marketers Brilliance Silver Award." The ABA relocated to its spectacular, state-of-the-art campus at Madinat Al Irfan, Muscat, in March 2022, leaving its previous campus at Al Khuwair, founded in 1987. Congratulations to Milli Scott, a high school senior who has successfully completed her DoE Bronze award! Students must complete a certain number of hours in each of the three categories—Physical Activity, Skill, and Voluntary Service—to earn the Duke of Edinburgh International Bronze Award.

Non-Academic Achievements

A non-selective institution is ABA. The Class of 2021 has concluded their education at ABA with such successful scholarship results, on top of two perfect scores on the IB Diploma Programme, the class average exceeding the global average by over 3 points, and 34% of the graduating class (23 students) scoring 40 or more points placing them in the top 9% of global IB DP graduates. More than one-third of students enrolled in undergraduate programs at universities earned both full and partial scholarships.
