While the new school was being built, Aberfoyle Hub Primary School opened in 1986 as an addition to Aberfoyle Park High School. Aberfoyle Hub Junior Primary School and Aberfoyle Hub Primary School moved to their current location in 1990. The school's enrollment has fluctuated between 1990 and the present. In 2009, it became an R-7 school, and in 2021, it changed to an R-6 school with a single principal, a deputy principal, and a governing school council. The Aberfoyle Hub Primary campus consists of one transportable facility and five brick buildings that together function as a single school.
