The Admiral Farragut Academy Application Process is as mentioned below:-

• ALL SCHOOL APPLICANTS:
• APPLICATION FEE
• Apply online (www.farragut.org/apply) and by debit or credit card pay the non-refundable $100 application fee.
• REQUEST TWO (2) TEACHER RECOMMENDATIONS
• 1. Please provide the email addresses of student’s current English and Math teachers i.e. within the online application.
• 2. From Farragut an online link will be emailed directly to the teacher. With the teachers you are responsible for following up to make sure they check their email inbox and complete the recommendations.
• FOR OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS SUBMIT RECORDS REQUEST FORM TO STUDENT’S CURRENT OR MOST RECENT SCHOOL
• 1. Provided by Admissions complete the Records Request Form.
• 2. From the most recent and/or previous 3 years of schooling the Official Transcripts are required.
• 3. By postal mail or express shipping the Official Transcripts must be sent directly from the student’s school to their Admissions Office.
• 4. In a signed, sealed envelope the Official Transcripts must arrive.
• TESTING AND EVALUATIONS
• 1. Testing: copy of most recent test scores.
• 2. Evaluations (if applicable): copy of Psychological, Educational, or Testing or Behavioral Doctor evaluation(s), 501 plan, or copy of IEP.
• BY APPOINTMENT COMPLETE STUDENT INTERVIEW OR CAMPUS TOUR
• 1. In-person, by Skype, or other approved web-based video the interview can be.
• 2. At the same time the interview and campus tour can be scheduled.
• ADMISSIONS COMMITTEE REVIEWS APPLICANT
• 1. To complete the student's application all the items listed above must be submitted.
• 2. Once the application is complete, by the Admissions Committee each applicant’s file is reviewed.
• 3. By email families are notified of the Admissions Committee’s decision.
• 4. 1st June is the priority deadline for enrollment to the following academic school year.
• INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS ONLY:
• TRANSCRIPTS
• 1. By a certified translator of the student’s country the International student transcripts must be translated into English.
• 2. Both translated and untranslated versions the student’s transcripts is what the admissions needs.
• 3. From 8th grade must submit transcript through most current completed grade level.
• 4. From student’s previous school the transcripts should include curriculum information and to the American system how it compares.
• ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
• 1. For non-English speakers Farragut offers ESL classes (ESOL).
• 2. From non-English speaking countries the International applicants are required to demonstrate competency in English in one of the following ways:
• a. Submit English language proficiency score – IELTS, TOEFL or TOEFL, Jr. – school code 1970.
• b. For their Advanced ESOL class the new 11th grade students must qualify. The scores recommended are: IELTS – overall band score of 5, TOEFL Jr. 750, TOEFL 70. ESOL class placement will be at the discretion of the High School Division Head, the ESOL Instructor, and the ESOL Director.
• FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND CITIZENSHIP PROOF
• 1. Documentary evidence family must provide that during the entire period of anticipated study by bank statement or letter to defray all expenses sufficient funds are or will be available.
• 2. A copy of the student’s passport, family must provide etc.
