The Admiral Farragut Academy Fee Details are as mentioned below:-

2024-2025 School Year

In school tuition a daily lunch is included. An annual $200 Enrollment Fee & $250 Tech. Ed Licensing Fee per student all families are required to pay.

Kindergarten – 5th (Lower School Day):

Tuition if paid with a one-time full payment - $21,000.

6th – 7th (Lower School Day):

Tuition if paid with one-time full payment - $23,400.

8th – 12th (Upper School Day):

Tuition if paid with one-time full payment - $29,100.

8th – 12th (Upper School 5-Day U.S. Domestic Boarding):

Tuition if paid with one-time full payment - $49,300.

8th – 12th (Upper School 7-Day U.S. Domestic Boarding):

Tuition if paid with one-time full payment - $58,600.

8th – 12th (Upper School 7-Day International Boarding):

Tuition if paid with one-time full payment - $64,000.

Tuition Deposit:

Kindergarten – 5th (Lower School Day) / 6th – 7th (Lower School Day) / 8th – 12th (Upper School Day) - $2,500.

8th – 12th (Upper School 5-Day U.S. Domestic Boarding) / 8th – 12th (Upper School 7-Day U.S. Domestic Boarding) - $4,000.

8th – 12th (Upper School 7-Day International Boarding) - $9,000.

Payment Plans:

1. On a payment plan if a family is choosing to pay, during enrollment/re-enrollment the flat fee will be required and through SchoolAdmin is managed.

2. If any payment plan is selected, regardless of the date of enrollment or re-enrollment, for all retroactive payments due starting on July 1st you are responsible.

3. Until the previous year’s tuition is paid current students cannot be re-enrolled.

Tuition Does Not Include:

1. Uniforms.

2. Student School Supplies.

3. Books and Access Fees.

4. Private Tutoring.

5. Aftercare (Grades K-4).

6. After School Activities or Extra-Curriculars.

7. Entrance Fees or Overnight Field Trips.

8. Center for Academic Success Services.

9. Aviation Course Fees or Scuba Course Fees.

10. AP Course Test Fees ($97 per exam).

11. Medical Insurance for international students (estimated at $1,200).

12. Boarding Student Expense Accounts (mandatory for boarding students).

Charitable Gifts:

Like other independent schools, to contribute to their Farragut Fund each year the Admiral Farragut Academy depends on parents, grandparents, staff, trustees, alumni, and friends. Fully tax-deductible the gifts are.

Scholarship

The Admiral Farragut Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida offers academic- and need-based scholarships to students of all grades. The school also offers merit-based scholarships and payment plan programs. The last graduate class earned $5.1 million in merit scholarships.

For exceptional students who complete the admission application requirements, the AFA offers scholarships, to be a positive contributing member of the Admiral Farragut Academy student body have a desire, and any of the following demonstrates:-

1. High academic achievement.
2. Community engagement and involvement.
3. Strong character qualities and/or leadership skills.
4. High interest in the arts.
