American Gulf School (AGS) in Sharjah, established in 2021, is the sole IB curriculum school in the city. It employs an IB-based curriculum that emphasizes project-based learning and student engagement. Covering subjects such as English, Maths, STEAM, Arabic, Islamic Studies, and French, the school is on track to be authorized for all four International Baccalaureate Programmes by 2023-24. Under the leadership of Principal James Lynch, AGS boasts a diverse student body of over 200 students from 20 nationalities.
