The Glenelg School Madinat Zayed, formerly known as, has been impacted by ADNOC's choice to transfer day-to-day operation to the prestigious Aldar Academies Group. This choice was unmistakably motivated by the need for a significant increase in the quality of education being provided, as the school had previously received two Poor ratings from the ADEK inspection teams.

The ADNOC School under-9 football team won against Al-Yasmina School Khalid Al Nuaimi, grade 10 student in ADNOC School Sas Al Nakhl, came first place in junior category UAE tour challenge ADNOC School, Sas Al Nakhl - Elementary, who won the Pile it Up Challenge, winning a wonderful prize of AED 12,000! A In total, more than 250 schools in Abu Dhabi participated and returned over 50,000 single-use water bottles for recycling
