The Adult High School is based at Ottawa and it is part of the Ottawa Carleton District School Board. The school was established in the year 1983. It is specifically a secondary school. The school is located in the downton of Little Italy. The school took over the High School of Commerce building after its downfall. The curriculum at Adult High School is the same as that in regular high schools in the Province of Ontario. The school provides programmes for persons with physical or mental challenges and offers specialised instruction for older pupils. The knowledge and abilities provided by the diploma program will improve work placement and promotion.

The Adult High School is based at Ottawa and it is part of the Ottawa Carleton District School Board. The credit courses in maths, science, english and creative writing offered by Adult High School are on par with or better than those given by the adult schools of the majority of other Ontario school boards. The students perform exceptionally well overall, with pass rates remaining the same or rising in 18 of the 22 required courses for grades 9 and 10.
