In the Swiss canton of Vaud, there is a private coeducational boarding school called Aiglon College. 58 kilometers from Lausanne, in the picturesque alpine village of Chesieres, near the ski resort of Villars-sur-Ollon, was founded in 1949 by former Gordonstoun instructor John C. Corlette. In addition to preparing students for the IB Diploma and IGCSE exams, the school is renowned for its robust outdoor education program and proficiency in winter sports. The school was one of the first members of the Round Square school conference.
