Al-Bayan Bilingual School was established in 1977 as the first bilingual school in the Arabian Gulf Area. The school is located at Hawalli Beirut Street. The school provides quality education to students from Pre-Kg to Grade 12. The curriculum followed by the school is American. The school offers a Bilingual program in which English and Arabic languages carry equal status. The school aims to foster an environment for students to develop values, attitudes, and intellectual qualities. The objective of the school is to prepare students to be fluent in English and Arabic, innovative, creative, critical thinkers, and environmentally conscious. Currently, there are approximately 2,474 students enrolled.

The students of Al-Bayan Bilingual School are recognized for various accomplishments in academics. Students who secured a 4.0 cumulative GPA received High honors with distinction. The school has an award of distinction which is designed to honor students in different grades who have a cumulative GPA of 3.75 and above. There are many academic awards given to students who perform outstandingly in examinations.

There are a variety of non-academic activities organized by the school authority. The students participate in these activities and showcase their skills. Every spring, the school organizes an Athletics Award ceremony in which they award the most valuable player from each team and High School athlete of the year. There is also a student council award which is given to the senior who did hard work on behalf of all students during his 4 years.
