The Al Ain English Speaking School (AAESS) was established in 1978 and is located in Al Muwaij'i. The Balfour Group set up this school. This school offers the British curriculum i.e. classes from Foundation Stage to Sixth Form. For Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, 2, 3 and Sixth Form the school has distinct blocks.
This school also houses various state-of-the-art facilities such as a swimming pool, ICT labs and a well-resourced library. With additional support for the students with different learning needs, this school is a truly inclusive school etc.

The Al Ain English Speaking School was placed 3rd in the Al Dhafra Football Tournament 2022, where the school was represented by the following students on 29th October (Saturday) at the Al Dhafra Football Tournament 2022 and from start to finish the students were outstanding and came away in 3rd place out of 16 teams. Those students names are as mentioned below: Sami Mamdouh Ghanem (Yr7), Rayan Khan (Yr7), Daniel Abdulelah Al Sadi(Yr7), Muhammad Asad Ali Syed (Yr7), Kareem Hani Khaled Rmeh (Yr7), Saeed Shibata Alnajjar (Yr7), Ali Tariq Hamdan (Yr7), Anas firas jisry (Yr7), Abderaouf Saibi (Yr6), Joud Al Deraa (Yr5), Saif Hussam Al Shorafa Hussam AL Din Fawzi Al Shorafa (Yr7), Ismail Mohamed Eid Ismail Salama Shehawy (Yr7) and Fayyaz Abdulrehman Farooq (Yr7). The school also congratulates Laila for achieving 3 rd place in the Sabre sword category in the recent UAE Fencing Federation tournament. The school celebrated a student gaining the highest award in the world for GCSE French in 2017, and its first student gaining the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award alongside the highest in the World for A/S Maths (Cambridge) in 2019. Zaheer Abass who is the principle of the Secondary School and Physics teacher, was also awarded the inaugural ADEK Teacher of the Year Award in 2020 etc.
