The Al Jubail International Schools- Jubail (JIS) is the second International School established in 1999 and is located in the Huwaylat District, in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia that offers the community easy access in an area which is a part of the Royal Commission. This school follows the IB curriculum and offers classes from KG1 to Grade 12. It consists of separate Boys and Girls sections.
For teaching and learning the JIS serves as an ideal site. On a 19700 sqm plot of land the school itself is housed. On much smaller premises it was originally located. A coeducational school system it was. By the decree of the Ministry of Education in 2009, into two separate locations it was separated, boys sections' and girls' section. The number of students increased over time and then the existing premises was deemed inadequate. Of the School's progressive plan and its mission and vision the construction of a new building was an essential part. Hence just for the purpose of housing a school a new building was constructed, and in January 2011 the school moved in it etc.

School Achievements

Achievements

In CIE Examination board in Saudi Arabia among the six students the two of the students who excelled were from the Jubail International School. In IGCSE Physics Georges Obied ranked top in the world. In AS Applied ICT Saman Ishtiaq Malik ranked top in the world. Also, JIS celebrates the academic achievements as in school, in Cambridge International Examinations many students got straight A*s. With Four Highest Ranking & Distinctions in IGCSE, A-Level and SAT results the JIS students have also been awarded. 1. Omar Khan-World Record Holder - achieved 2400 out of 2400 marks in SAT-2 Exams. 2. Taha Ozair Osman - TOP in the WORLD – Mathematics- IGCSE. 3. Mark Ashraf- TOP in the WORLD - Mathematics - IGCSE. 4. Omar Khan- TOP in the Region (GCC, North Africa and Pakistan) - Applied Information & Communication Technology - A Levels.
