During the day, the students will have two breaks i.e. for Pre and Primary School it is from 9:05 a.m. to 9:20 a.m. & 11:20 a.m. to 11:35 a.m. and for Middle and High School it is from 10:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. & 12:30 p.m. to 01:00 p.m.. The students are not allowed to leave the school during breaks.

Sport is an integral part of school activities at the school, supported by necessary resources. With two gyms the JIS is equipped, which are used for various sporting and cultural activities. For basketball and volleyball as well there are separate courts. Among the indoor games, table tennis and badminton facilities are available. Qualified, male and female, physical training instructors supervise students' physical training and all classes have regular sports periods during the week.

At the Al-Hussan International Schools, to the co-curricular activities a great deal of importance is given.
