Al Resala Bilingual School was founded in 1977 by a group of Kuwaiti educators who were committed to providing a high-quality education that was rooted in Arabic and Islamic values. The school was originally located in the Salmiya district of Kuwait City, and it offered a kindergarten and primary school program. In 1984, the school expanded to offer a secondary school program.
In 1992, Al Resala Bilingual School moved to its current location in the Jabriya district of Kuwait City. The new campus was designed to meet the needs of a growing student body, and it included a library, a computer lab, a gymnasium, and an auditorium.
In 2001, Al Resala Bilingual School was accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). This accreditation recognized the school's commitment to providing a high-quality international education.
