The college was established by the Methodist Episcopal Church. Initially, the college only allowed male candidates but later on in 1934, the college also allowed girls to take admission. The Albert College is both day-school and boarding school. The college now has grades from Kindergarten to Grade 12. There are atleast students from around 20 countries enrolled in the college. The Albert College is known for its strong academic record and excellence. The college over the years has grown to be one of the leading schools of Ontario that receives a large number of applications every year.
