Aldergrove Community Secondary School was founded in 1958 and is the second oldest school in the Langley School District. In addition to students from the Fraser Valley's Aldergrove area, Aldergrove Junior-Senior High School, as it was then known, welcomed First Nations students and their families from British Columbia's Haida Gwaii, Bella Bella, and Bella Coola areas.
