The start of the semester at Alexander Academy included an educational trip to Grouse Mountain, where students were able to witness the breathtaking mountains and rainforest in the Vancouver area, as well as learn about the culture of the Squamish people from a local elder. During the excursion, they also gained knowledge of local wildlife and vegetation, including species of birds, bears, and trees. Additionally, the fitness club took two trips to Function Health Club, a gym specializing in CrossFit training. Under the guidance of a professional fitness instructor, students learned proper technique for various lifts and exercises and participated in CrossFit workouts, making it an enjoyable and new experience for many of them.
