Alinjarra Primary School

Alinjarra Primary School, situated in the northern suburb of Alexander Heights Perth, commenced its operations in 1988. The term 'Alinjarra' is derived from the aboriginal language and signifies "North". The school provides education to students from Kindergarten to year 6, fostering a secure, nurturing, and encouraging learning environment. All classrooms are equipped with air-conditioning, computer networks, interactive whiteboards to facilitate student learning, and a well-maintained website. The curriculum encompasses a diverse range of learning activities, including specialized subjects such as Science, Music (featuring a school choir and instrumental programs in flute, guitar, and clarinet), Italian, ICT, and Physical Education. Additionally, the school offers various programs to cater to the needs of talented and gifted students, both within the school and district, such as PEAC and EYES. Alinjarra Primary School actively fosters strong connections with the local community. The community is composed of individuals from diverse nationalities, with families speaking over 20 different languages.
