All Saints Primary School

On January 4th, 1986, All Saints officially became an independent Parish. Before this, the Parish had been under the jurisdiction of St Dympna's, Aspley, and the Holy Spirit Parish, Pine Rivers. Several years before becoming a Parish, the Brisbane Archdiocese had acquired the land on Fahey’s Road, Albany Creek, to establish a church, school, and other Parish facilities. Following the establishment of the Parish, the primary goal was to construct the Parish school. The plan was to begin construction in 1987 and have the school ready for opening in 1988. However, as a new Parish, we heavily relied on a grant from the Commonwealth Schools Commission. Unfortunately, due to high demands that year, no funds were initially provided. After reapplying, they eventually received a grant which, combined with the ongoing Parish contributions, allowed them to start building in 1988. Subsequently, All Saints Parish School opened its doors in 1989, initially offering Preschool and classes for Years 1, 2, and 3. By 1993, the school had a full range of primary classes and now accommodates over 650 students. The introduction of Prep in 2007 marked a new phase of construction for the school and Parish, resulting in the addition of a new Parish Centre, 2 Prep classrooms, and 2 general purpose rooms.
