On July 20, 1959, Allambie Heights Public School opened its doors to 144 pupils and four faculty members. Over the ensuing years, the number of students attending the school continued to rise steadily in tandem with the residential expansion. The School Badge's design incorporates elements of the surrounding community. A curving natural shape is adorned with an Aboriginal design, primarily in shades of terracotta and forest green. The depictions of sea, land, and sky creatures are those that the earliest occupants engraved onto the granite platforms. With strong community support, Allambie Heights Public School has commemorated 50 years of accomplishments in primary education.
Allambie Heights Public School students are raised to adhere to the standards set by the school. Everything they do, inside and outside of the classroom, is based on these expectations. These values are:
Respect
Responsibility
