Allanson Primary School

The township of Allanson is situated 195 kilometers south of Perth and 7 kilometers west of Collie, along the Coalfields Road and the Collie River shoreline.

Established in 1913, the Allanson School was specifically created to cater to the children of families involved in the initial coal mining and timber felling operations in the area. Under the guidance of Dorothy Gibson, the school's founding Principal, it began with an enrollment of 27 students. Presently, Allanson stands as a Level 4 primary school, accommodating 98 students.
