In Dulwich, London, England, Alleyn's School is a private, co-educational, Church of England day school with a sixth form for students ages 4 to 18 that was established in the year 1619. It was formerly a part of Edward Alleyn's College of God's Gift charitable foundation, together with James Allen's Girls' School and Dulwich College, and is now a recognized charity. Initiated in 1882 as a boys' school, Alleyn's School is a direct successor of Edward Alleyn's original establishment. Alleyn's School became co-educational in 1976, becoming among the first institutions of its kind in the nation. As a completely co-educational connected school that shared the location and its impressive array of amenities, Alleyn's Junior School first opened its doors in 1992.
